Equine Assisted Learning and Therapy
Suddene Park Farm is the home and base for Equest, which provides equine assisted leadership development to companies of all shapes and sizes. Pam Billinge, Director of Equest says: “What we do is essentially experiential learning in the outdoors with horses. We help our clients with all kinds of issues: leadership and personal development, culture change, influencing, senior team development, relationship management. Our client list includes Nationwide Building Society, MAN trucks and buses, Motorola Mobility and London Business School. It is one of the most powerful and effective forms of learning I have ever come across.”
You can find out more about the work of Equest on www.equestlimited.co.uk.
Pam Billinge also works therapeutically with a small number of private clients, supporting individuals, couples, adults and young people to get the most out of life and move beyond whatever challenges they are facing. Find out about Pam’s therapeutic practise on www.pambillinge.com

I found the experience unique and inspiring and took me to a place I never expected in understanding the trust and respect required to effectively lead. I thought I knew all the ‘tricks’ required to be a good leader, but that is the point, tricks do not work with horses and most likely do not work with people. Be true to one’s self and others, as my wise and unpromising teacher (my chosen horse) showed me, and you can achieve incredibly things. My favourite saying is “the difference between ordinary and extra-ordinary, is that little extra”. The two days spent with you all at Equest had the extra in abundance. It was extra-extra-ordinary!
