A few quotes from our visitors:
"The warm welcome by Sarah, including a tour of her stables. A beautiful view in a peaceful and tranquil spot. A great pub is within walking distance. Definitely one we’ll return to and recommend to friends and family." I.G. Aug 2025
"We only did one night as this was a half way stop for us. Sarah was super helpful and inviting. I told Sarah that my daughter loves horses, so she was kind enough to show us and even gave the kids horse shoes!! Kids where over the moon. Great views and super quiet. Would definitely stay again. " R.T. Aug 2025
"Remote, friendly staff, excellent communication, peaceful and spacious." M.C. Aug 2025
"Peaceful and tidy with nice space between pitches with a friendly and informative host. Great place to just escape and enjoy nature. Walks nearby and a couple of good pubs!" T.H. Aug 2025
"Loved our stay here, our first trip to motorhoming. Sarah was so helpful and friendly from start to finish with directions once she had our details. When we arrived she was there with a welcoming smile, making sure we had all we needed and even ended up lending us a cable so we could reach the electrics. The site was peaceful not overcrowded with beautiful views, with horses grazing on the side of the hill in view which suited us. So thank you Sarah x" S.W. Aug 2025
"Fantastic host who was welcoming, kind, and generous beyond our expectations. - Peaceful, safe environment where our child and dog could be ‘free range’ without us worrying. - Fantastic views across the rolling countryside and close proximity to points of interest - We were also given an impromptu visit to the horses on the farm, an experience our child hadn’t had before (as a city kid), and hasn’t stopped talking about since. - Worth every penny and we look forward to returning!" A.G. Aug 2025
"Just wanted to say thank you. Such a beautiful, relaxing site, I don't think I've ever slept so well. Best wishes to you and love to Rambo. We will be back :)" W.B. Aug 2025
"A truly lovely back to basics campsite. So peaceful and well maintained. Generous sized pitches and Sarah the owner is so friendly and welcoming. We had a beautiful shady spot under a tree which was perfect for the morning and evening sun but kept the tent cool in the midday heat. Central drinking water tap and good location for walks and exploring. Good signal for phone data for sat nav etc." E.M. Aug 2025
"Superb value, peaceful location on a well kept farm, great hosts, easy to find with good access. Basic but superb location." G.S. Aug 2025
"Absolutely loved this site. Sarah is friendly, responsive and helpful. The site is peaceful, has beautiful views and walks straight from the field. Plenty of space to choose where to set up. Just what we were looking for. Will 100% return." Anon, Aug 2025

"We spent 3 weekends at this site. This is the perfect site for a quiet get away. Sarah was very welcoming and very helpful, would certainly stay again and recommend to others. Thank you Sarah, hope to see you again soon." AJ Jul 2024
"My wife and I have been out of the Caravanning game for nearly 25 years and we wanted to get back into it. So we picked up our new caravan on the Friday and wanted to test it out. It was only a stones throw from where we lived and was ideal for us. The site is isolated and very much the kind of site we like. Sarah was brilliant. We called her when we arrived and she met us at the campsite entrance. Sarah was very warm and approachable on what was evidentially a busy stable yard and farm. The one thing which struck us was how big and black the sky was. Something we missed camping. This is a great site if you're travelling from the north and looking for a stop over on the way south, or a site for a cheeky weekend away. Marlborough up the road and the walks are breathtaking which is indicative of rural Wiltshire. I might be a little biased! But it is one of the prettiest counties. And Saversnake forest is simply beautiful what ever the season you visit." J.B. Feb 2023
